Dear brothers, sisters and friends of the parish,

We are very pleased to announce that the repairs to St-Mathieu Church are now complete. After 19 months of waiting, we are able to receive parishioners in our beautiful church for Christmas time.

Sunday, December 17, we celebrate the 3rd Sunday Ahead. We invite you to join us at 9 a.m. Mass. Before the celebration, Father Joseph will bless the church and the altar and after the mass, we will serve coffee and muffins at the back of the church. Let’s come meet our neighbors, and meet the members of our community next Sunday and celebrate the reopening of our church in large numbers.

We would like to thank the volunteers who worked tirelessly with the contractor Cléroux and the insurance company to make this happen. Our volunteers on the Temporal Affairs and Parish Committees are a good group of people, dedicated to the Parish and the parishioners. These two committees are always looking for new volunteers who have an hour or two per week to contribute for the good of our beautiful community.
